I started GoBlow because the piece I wanted didn't exist at a fair price.
Three days of festival in 2024. Three failed plastic alternatives. By the second sunset they were either lost, broken, or thrown out. I came home and started drawing.
The American precision-machined ones I'd been admiring online cost three hundred US dollars plus shipping plus duty. By the time the box landed in Melbourne it was over A$500 for a single pendant. That price made sense for the kind of person who buys one pendant and puts it on a shelf. It didn't make sense for me, or for the people I was actually partying with.
What we ship
Every pendant is precision-machined from a single billet of 316L marine-grade stainless steel — the same alloy used in surgical instruments and the rigging on your favourite charter yacht. PVD-coated in five finishes. Threaded twist-lock closure (we tested magnets early — they failed at festival hour 14). Every order ships from Melbourne in five business days with free engraving in any script.
Where we are now
Five hundred shipped in the first year. 4.0 stars across the catalogue. Three follow-on products in the carry system — Stacks (modular titanium vaults), the Necklace, and the Cleaning Brush. A small studio in Carlton, a manufacturing partner across the water, and a QC bench in Abbotsford where every order gets eyeballed before it goes in the mailer.
