The before state

Trains 5–6 days a week. Goes to the gym, then to brunch, then maybe a meeting, then home, then out for dinner. Carry needs to survive sweat, gym lockers, post-gym brunch, and an evening out — all without re-pocketing.

Old setup: a wristband with a key in it for gym, a wallet at home, separate "going out" carry. Three different setups for one day.

The trigger to switch

A training partner wears one. Or they realise that pendant carry would survive a workout where pocket carry doesn't.

The first week of training with it

Pendant under a singlet during the workout. Doesn't bounce, doesn't rattle, sits flat against the chest. Survives a sweaty session without the chain spotting (machined stainless steel handles sweat). Locker holds the rest of life — phone, water bottle, change of clothes — but the pendant stays on the body.
