A finish matched box chain, included in every box. It seats into a carved groove at the pendant's waist. No slider, no bail, nothing to slip.
The mechanism.
Press the top and the polished scooper slides out the bottom. Release and it locks back inside the barrel. Nothing to unscrew, nothing to drop.
