EDC for Tradies: Carry That Survives a Worksite
Tradies wreck jewellery. Concrete dust, hammer impacts, sweat, and the occasional drop from height — most pendants don't last six months on a worksite. The GoBlow pendant is built differently.

Why most pendants fail on site
Soft alloys (sterling silver, plated steel) scratch on concrete and oxidise from sweat. Magnetic closures pop open during physical work. Cheap chains snap when caught on tools. Most jewellery is designed for sitting at desks, not swinging hammers.
Why GoBlow handles a worksite
The GoBlow pendant is machined stainless steel — the alloy used in marine and industrial environments because it doesn't rust, pit, or scratch from concrete dust. Threaded twist-to-lock closure stays put under hammer impact. PVD finishes are 1500-3000 HV — harder than steel screwdrivers.
For tradies: Steel reads under hi-vis, doesn't show wear like Black PVD does on a worksite. Black PVD works fine but earns patina faster.
How to wear it on site
Under the work shirt or hi-vis. Off the chest enough not to swing into tools. 50cm chain is usually right — keeps it close to the body, not flapping around.
For chippies, sparkies, plumbers: pendant under shirt is standard practice. For concreters and bricklayers: same, but check the chain weekly for caught aggregate.
The after-work transition
Walk off site, wipe the pendant down with a damp cloth, you're ready for a beer at the pub. No re-pocketing, no second wallet. Same carry from 6am to 11pm.
GoBlow Pendant — $150 AUD. 4-year PVD warranty (covers worksite wear). Use BLOWIT10 for 10% off.
